What are todays truths? They are flashes of inspirations from the Father. As I seek to please and love him more each day, I incline my ear to his mouth, and he with his mouth to my ear. Speak, Lord! I wake up each morning with an expectancy. Im expecting to receive a little bit more of his spirit, a little bit more of his enlightenment, and a bit more of his truths as I circumcise my ear to hear my Fathers voice. He speaks to my inward parts, to the deep recesses of my soul. He speaks to me at random times throughout the day and night ever so gently and delicately. These flutters of life moves me so deeply, moves me in a supernatural wayfrom one dimension to the nextto a place of security, a place of sheer hope and inspiration. It feels like Ive been here before. Is it possible? This book came about when I decided to share my truths with my Facebook family and friends. To my surprise, Ive gotten quite a few thanks and appreciation for sharing. These words spoke to them in the deep places of their everyday lives just as they do for me. Some of these daily truths are inspired by past and current events that have touched the core of me and will live forever in me. The Father is always speaking to his creation (you and I). We are often too busy to give him our attention. Have you tuned your spiritual ear to hear him? He loves us and has always instructed us how to navigate through this world. His word is truth and lifeit lifts my soul and gives light to the path of my feet. One thing I know for sure! I cannot live without the breath of his spirit! I pray that you are moved to listen to the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit throughout the day. Write them down, meditate on them, and search the scripture to find the word that lines up with what you received of him. This book is by no means meant to replace the reading of the Holy Bible, but to inspire you to search the scriptures and to seek him the more. Blessings.

The book is more encouraging to give a better understanding about living in a family and how to be able to reach out to others. The book is about life to love yourself more. Loving yourself more is a way also to love others around, especially those in the family. More often than not, we will more frequently stick to our own opinions and not listen to others. We think that our opinions are always right. In the chapters that follow, by reading the book, it will help readers to have a clear mind of opinions and be more understanding toward others. We tend to behave that we are the only one living at home and no one else is around. By being negative, we tend to feel the loneliness. This book will open up one’s mind to be more concise and clear about living a life more fruitful life and being happy in living together as a family.

This book is about expressing the experiences of life from the heart and soul. It will reveal within its readers the inner spiritual treasures of life through childhood memories, love adventures, and heart aches but also uplift the readers as they journey through the pages of this lyrical masterpiece. May the readers find solace in their lives as they discover the true nature of their inner desires and engross themselves in the realm of poetic bliss. Allow the poems to help release the shackles that bind your heart and soul and allow the universal flow of love to connect you to a spiritual realm of infinite joy and peace. This book is about finding a happy medium within your lives as you traverse the maze of life. With two different writing styles, the authors of this book hope to give you two different but complementary viewpoints on experiences that have shaped their view of life, their view of love, and their view of poetry. We hope that reading this collection of poems will lead you to a more fulfilling and joyous life; adding excitement and adventure as well as discovery and enrichment of character.

Have you ever witnessed a sunrise that drove the darkness to its next destination and felt that God had provided it just for you? Our lives are connected to the creation and our spiritual senses are honed when we spend time there. Reflections of Life From the Tree Stand and the Trout Hole is a journal of one mans passage through life. Truth is framed in our lives as we live through difficult experiences. Character, integrity, and values are all firmly established as we attempt to live by the truths that we find in Gods Word. This book reveals that failure is never final, and that success is always fleeting. You will be reminded that a walk in the woods is natures blood pressure medicine. There are stories that will take you back to a hunting trip with your grandfather or a fishing trip that bonded you and a friend for life. There are moments that can never be repeated only remembered. That is the value of a journal like this. We have become an indoor culture. Our children spend countless hours engaged in mindless but challenging video games. This generation will soon be disconnected from Gods special gift to us, this creation. This book is a gentle nudge to remember our Creator with each new day, and be reminded that every new day has a purpose. Reflections of Life wont help you solve a financial crisis, or fix a relationship that has broken. It will however, give you some new ways to look at an old problem. Learning to relax seems foreign today. Vacations are far too expensive and stressful. This little journal may entice you to pick up your fishing rod, or hunting rifle again and re-explore the world that you have forgotten.

This book is a reminder for family, friends, and all who read it, of a special love and bond that this author shared with others through God's blessings. Her poems are drawn from family, friends, and memories throughout her life. She was privileged to have had three of her poems chosen to be published on separate occasions and in different books during the past few years. All three of these poems are included in this book. One of the books entitled "Stars in Our Hearts," published her poem, "Where Have the Years Gone, My Son." She wrote "Thru a Soldier's Eyes" for her brothers while they were serving in Vietnam. However, there are six poems in the book that have been rewritten, based on papers given her from her brother, SSgt. John W. Atkinson, written on his thoughts, events, and prayers while he was serving in Vietnam. Together, they have rewritten them in a more poetry-like form for the book. She wishes to include these six poems, especially, in honor of her brother, SSgt Atkinson, as well as Alvin Atkinson, their older brother, who also served and to honor all of the soldiers, who served, fought, and died in Vietnam or any war. It is this author's wish that each one who reads this book receives a blessing from it and enjoys it as much as she enjoyed writing it. God bless you all.

Reflections on Life is a semi-biography of my lifes experiences. I found that poetry was my best outlet for expressing my thoughts on many of my personal experiences, and most of them are inspired by either an individual or a life event that I felt a need to capture and share. Many people may have had similar experiences and can relate with my words. I hope that my penned words can be an inspiration or can offer solitude or gratification to others. Writing is a gift from God, and I hope that my gift will be a present to your presence and a pathway to individual peace.

“This book is a voice of hope in an unhinged world. It is a candid, genuine guide for those who took, as Robert Frost wrote, ‘The Road Less Traveled.’” —Alfred Lackey PhD, Holistic Counseling Service “Patricia Wilson has a ninety-chord love song to fuel the required emotional nutrients that we need. Surely within her book lies a distinctive Rhema for all of us. —Connie Lackey, founder of the Ladies’ Tea Ministry “As I read Patricia’s book, it enlightened me as to what God would intend us to do. ‘The Lord said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that he may run that readeth it.’ (Hab 2:2)” —Dick Halloran, Director, Life Abundant Bible College and Healing Rooms. “In reading Patricia’s book I received a blessing in that she was able to express herself with words that God would give her in her walk of faith with Him—even through the tragedy of her loss, knowing how God would sustain her and carry her to the next level. I found that her love for the Lord was expressed in each word I read. I know that anyone reading this book will come to know that there are treasures that only God can give. I believe from my heart that God has great and mighty things ahead for her.” —JoAnn Halloran, director of Life Abundant Ministry Healing Rooms. “I have known Pat many years as a Christian sister, and she lives by ‘Be doers of the Word and not hearers only.’ James 1:22 (NKJV) I highly recommend this book to all as an inspirational devotion!” —Vickie Linnins, Teacher “My friend, the young-hearted, godly enthusiast Pat Wilson, takes you face-to-face with life and love by rendering her ideas of love to the loveless and strength to the weak. She is inserting the keys to these mysteries as she sees fit, to help fill emptiness and mend brokenness. This book should be taken with you and used as positive energy for any day of your life as our ‘Earth Angel’ Pat intended it. —Donna V. Reflections of Life in Our Town is a satirical look at life and values in small town America. The book is occasionally absurd, occasionally offensive, sometimes sensitive, but mostly just funny. Our Town does not exist in a time, nor does it really inhabit a specific place, though most of it's inhabitants believe that they are somewhere in Ohio, and all agree that they are definitely on the planet Earth. The citizens of Our Town live life pretty much as any Americans do, dealing with such issues as the spread of communism, the rise of the superstore, and rampaging ogres at the end of the street (?), as we all would. The cast of characters in Our Town is wildly varied, from the senile village elder, Grandpa Genkaku, to the physically indescribable Laughlin twins. There is a child prodigy with a fish bowl on her head, a many tentacled alien from the dark side of Saturn, and of course, the aforementioned ogres. Though varied, together they form a relatively tight community trying to cope with the trials of everyday life. And everyday life in Our Town is pretty much like life in any town. You have your good days and your bad; your successes and your failures. One day, a wandering band of angels is scandalizing the local women, the next day, the circus comes to town. Life is kind of like a roller coaster that way. The citizens of Our Town also offer forays into outer space in order to rediscover previously discovered planets, and a quest for god while in pursuit of a red balloon. While life in Our Town may not be quite as exciting as life in places like Toledo, we generally manage to fill our days quite well. So, these are my reflections of life in Our Town. While some may seem a bit bizarre at first glance, upon closer inspection, they really are not that much different from the things most people experience in life. After all, its about values, and an appreciation for the things which we hold most dear. So, join me as I take a stroll down memory lane. Relax, and have a laugh, just be careful not to step in any ogre $#!?...
